Note: Entrance fee is $2 per person (over 65 free, and also children in car seats). No pets allowed.

Come, join us, and enjoy...

A potluck picnic in a gorgeous park, in the company of others who, like you, are interested in living a more sustainable lifestyle. We're organizing:

• a nature walk
• folk music (bring your instruments!)
• campfire reflections (get a taste of being in a discussion circle!)

Directions to Patapsco Valley State Park

The entrance to the Avalon area of the park is located off of US 1 (north of
Route 100 and just south of Route 195) at 5120 South Street, Halethorpe, MD
21227. You can only get to the Glen Artney section of the park if you
come into the entrance of the Avalon area off Route 1!

What to bring

• a chair or a blanket to sit on
• a dish with a serving utensil, preferably vegetarian (but not required). We invite people to share the name of their dish and something about the ingredients (vegetarian/non-dairy/chicken/ etc.) on an index card or label.
• a drink
• your own reusable plate/utensils/cloth napkin, in the spirit of not having to throw out lots of plastic and paper.
• $2 per person entrance fee to the park
• Yourself, your loved ones, or anyone who'd like to hang out with us!

Carpooling

If you would like to carpool, please indicate where you will be coming from, and whether you would need a ride or could offer a ride. RSVP to Marney at 301-652-0492 or Forum@simplicity-matters.org  by Friday June 27 if possible.
